How do we book you?

You can book us by filling out the contact form on our website, messaging us on Instagram, or sending an email. We'll walk you through the process, confirm availability, and secure your date with a signed contract and deposit.

Question 2

How much is the deposit and when is the final balance due?

Accepted Answer

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your date. The remaining balance is typically due upon delivery of final video.

Question 3

What happens if we need to reschedule?

We get it, things happen. If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date.

Question 4

What happens if I cancel my event?

If you cancel within one month of the event, 50% of the deposit is forfeited.
 If you cancel within 2 weeks of the event your full deposit is forfeited.
If you cancel anytime after the event date has started or before delivery, the full payment becomes due. This is because that time was reserved exclusively for you and cannot be rebooked.

Do I get a contract?

Absolutely, the contract outlines the services agreed upon (coverage, deliverables, timeline), the payment terms, cancellation/rescheduling conditions, and usage rights. 
It protects both of us and ensures we’re on the same page.

Question 6

Who owns the content?

Accepted Answer

Memento Media retains ownership of all deliverables. However, once full payment is received, you're granted a license to use the final work for personal or commercial purposes depending on your package.

Question 7

What kind of license do I receive with my photos or videos?

Accepted Answer

Unless you’ve specifically selected exclusive rights, all work is delivered with extended usage rights under a non-exclusive, royalty-free license. This means you're free to use your content across social media, websites, print materials, and even small-scale ads.
 Full commercial use and exclusivity are available through higher-tier packages or add-ons.

What’s a premium edit?

Premium edits include advanced retouching—skin smoothing, object removal, enhanced lighting, and magazine-style polish. These are hand-selected or available as upgrades.

What are "usage rights"

Usage rights define how you're allowed to use the content we deliver. By default, Memento Media retains full ownership of all photos and videos but once full payment is received, you're granted a license to use the final content in specific ways.
There are different levels of usage rights:
Standard or Extended Usage Rights (included in most packages):
 Allows you to share your content on social media, websites, print materials, and even small-scale ads.
Full Commercial Rights:
 Lets you use your content in paid advertising, product packaging, or large-scale distribution.
Exclusive Rights (available as an add-on):
 Gives you sole rights to the content—meaning we won’t use it in our portfolio or share it publicly.
Not every project needs exclusive or commercial rights, but they’re available if needed.
